Vista - Remember My ID and Password"

Hi, I have a few minor problems with Vista that I would appreciate help with.
One is that when I click "Remember My ID and Password", the Vista system
appears to be very arbitrary in remembering the User ID and / or Password.
I thought I had all the correct boxes checked of but it is very arbitrary in
what it remembers and what it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.
The other is that I set ScreenSaver to display My Photos i.e. I redirected
it to photos that I would like to display and that WERE displayed with XP.
I click Preview and the photos appear but when my system
goes to sleep", I get an error message advisingThank you in advance,
