vista Home Premium 32bit.
 
 

user rights

hi ,
i m using windows vista home premium
i need to restrict a user as follows:-
not allowed to delete or edit or create any file or folder in total harddsk..
not allowed to change any settings like wall paper , resolution , icons in desktop etc..
jus like read only user.... pls help me too solve this
if not , is der any s/w available for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What would be the point of such as configured user as they would almost
certainly not be able to use most applications since many require the
creation of temporary files or updating other folders, for example IE
writing to the cache etc.

fine... then allow creation of files alone.... otherwise jus exclude it for system folders... or not allowed to delete or create folder in total harddsk..
not allowed to change any settings like wall paper , resolution , icons in desktop etc.
