need help vista problems

hi, i have just rebooted my Acer laptop and it is asking me for a username and password, is there anything i can do to help resolve this problem?

i would like to hear back with any solutions from any readers

That might depend on your deffinition of 'rebooted'
reboot is what you do when you restart your PC
some peoples call it that when they have recovered their PC to factory specs
