| | Re: setting a bootup password? So change it to Enable and set a password. Read the instructions on the BIOS screen to determine which keys to use to toggle settings. -- Crosspost, do not multipost http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "verymad" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message news:2163f583217d8fec4b642cf690472c21@xxxxxx-gateway.com... | | Re: setting a bootup password? Hi, The bios will have a password "setting" where you may either choose 'setup' or 'startup'. Choose startup and type your password. You can bypass this on the mother board itself by connecting 2 jumpers. That's on the older boards. I don't know about the newest.
