| Guest | merging Vista user profile back with domain account - SBS problems Hello, I started by installing Vista Ultimate and created 3 user accounts on it + my own admin. Then I installed a SBS2003 domain and joined the VIsta PC to it. Here are my issues: 1) when I used the http://myserver/connectcomputer site to connect the PC, I could not associate the new domain user account to the Vista local user account. Any way I can merge them after the fact ? 2) each time I log in using one of the 3 accounts, I get the SBS client setup that requires elevation run again and again. How can I get rid of that ? BTW, SBS joined the users as local admin but I reverted them back to user account. 3) before the installation of SBS, I was using parental controls to manage the 3 Vista accounts. Now this is gone...any way of getting it back on a domain ? I am using my kids as guinea pigs but I do like the features of parental control and would hate to loose it on my SBS domain. I have seen that there will be a new SBS client package that will be released at the end of january for Vista and Office 2K7. Will that resolve #2? Thanks |
