Problem by activation

Hi! I have a problem. I've purchased the Windows Vista on a internet page.
I've followed the instructions of the site but when I entered the key I got
an error massage that this product key is already in use. Could you tell me
what should I do?

Thank you!
Regards

Re: Problem by activation

"I've purchased the Windows Vista on a internet page."
AFAIK, Vista is not available for purchase on the internet.
Is it a Microsoft site?
What is the link?

Re: Problem by activation

The first thing to do is try and cancel the payment to this scam website.
You cannot buy Vista until after the release date on January 30, 2007.

Re: RE: Problem by activation

Unfortunately, that was probably a scam. Vista has been released to
businesses, but not to the general public.

I hope you can get your money back or stop the payment.

The thing about Vista is, that you can use the install you have for 30
days. At that time, you will have limited use until you either get a
proper key or you go in and save your files (which is about all you
will be able to do) and go back to a previous OS.

Re: RE: Problem by activation

Thank you for your help!

I've also realized that it is a pirate version. I think I lost 80 USD.
I've already reported the page to the Microsoft Anti-Piracy Team.
I'll buy the vista in march, in box......

Best Regards
Sándor
