Re: How to enter into "Send To"

Walter,

It can be done only by writing a shell extension. I'll have to check if there are any utilities for Windows Vista which can add the "Any folder" in the Send To menu. If the he "Send to X" PowerToy (originally written for Windows 9x) works in Vista, then it would be great. Have to test that also. Note that the Send to X PowerToy works fine in Windows XP.

Re: How to enter into "Send To"

There is an old tweak from XP that still works. It creates a Copy To and
Move To to the context menus.
http://www.tweakxp.com/article36777.aspx

I have it working in my Vista Business.

Glad I found these groups when I decided to open Windows Mail. Very nice
update from OE that is for sure.

Thanks, Rod. I've seen that. What I'm looking for is a way to add "Any
Folder" to the Send To options.

Re: How to enter into "Send To"

Ramesh,

Dont know if you can help me :

I cannot "Send To Mail Recipient"

I used the info you posted to add outlook 2007 as a shortcut, but when I try
to use it, I get the message cannot display selected folder or item.

What command to I need to put in here to attach the files I want to send to
a new message ?

Thanks (in advance !!)

Brian

Re: How to enter into "Send To"

On my system, the "Mail Recipient" item in SendTo is not a normal
shortcut. Instead it is a text file named "Mail Recipient.MAPIMail",
containing the text "Mail". You should be able to create this file using
notepad, but make sure notepad does not add a ".txt" extension.

Re: How to enter into "Send To"

Mark,

Thanks for that, but Notepad did add a txt extension.

What do I need to change it to ? I am assuming I alter the "opens with"
property, but welcome your advice if this is wrong !
