double copy of vista file find after install

Hi, I just try to install a x64 version of vista ultimate in my pc to have a
trial.
However during the 1st time installation, there is an error saying that it
cant access to the disk and ask me to restart the installation process.
After that I can successfully run vista in the second install, but I find
out that there is an windows.old.000 folder in C: which contain 3 folders
(program files, program files (x86) and Windows).
It takes up 10GB of the storage and I cant delete it even I set my login
account to admin type.
It always pop up saying I need permission to do it.
Is there anyone can help?

I'm not sure about this, but I think that you have to edit the permissions
in the properties window. Some permissions that carry over from XP seem to
block out Admin access to the folder on Vista.

Hello,

Run the disk cleanup wizard.

- Click start
- Type Disk Cleanup
- Press enter
- Select 'Files from all users on this computer'

It should give you the option to remove that folder.
