| | double copy of vista file find after install Hi, I just try to install a x64 version of vista ultimate in my pc to have a trial. However during the 1st time installation, there is an error saying that it cant access to the disk and ask me to restart the installation process. After that I can successfully run vista in the second install, but I find out that there is an windows.old.000 folder in C: which contain 3 folders (program files, program files (x86) and Windows). It takes up 10GB of the storage and I cant delete it even I set my login account to admin type. It always pop up saying I need permission to do it. Is there anyone can help? |

| | Re: double copy of vista file find after install I'm not sure about this, but I think that you have to edit the permissions in the properties window. Some permissions that carry over from XP seem to block out Admin access to the folder on Vista.
