Are these the standard screen savers that came with Vista? Which version of Vista did you install? | | Re: Screen Saver Bill Sorry for the delay. Try this: Open Taskmanager/Processes Tab and look for the ehtray.exe process. If it is there, right click this process and select End Process from the menu. Test the screen saver again. If no joy, take a look at the following articles and try the fixes there. The screen saver does not work when you use a Microsoft wireless pointing device: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911895 The screen saver does not start after you install the Wireless Optical Desktop device: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913405 -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Bill" <Bill@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:958D6A7E-816B-425B-BC26-A99E855BA139@microsoft.com... > Hi Ronnie > I have a new Acer T180 running Vista Home Premimim > I don't know if I have Aero enabled as I dont know how to do that. > By not working I mean if the computer is left for a length of time up to 3 > hours then the screen saver does not cut in and my desk top is displayed > Thanks for your help Bill > > "Ronnie Vernon MVP" wrote: > >> Hi Bill >> >> "Does not work" covers a lot of territory? Click the Settings Button, click teh Browse Button and select the folder where the pictures are located. You can also select the speed and theme for the display in that dialog box.
