Ipaq 6945 Pocket Pc Connection Sync Issues

I have tried for weeks now to get my Ipaq 6945 Pocket PC Windows mobile 5
unit to connect to my laptop (dell XPS M1210 with bluetooth) after installing
Windows Vista Home Premium. This device connected and synchronized
perfectly to Windows XP via USB and via bluetooth.

Today, when I plugged in my cradle to the laptop and inserted the Pocket pc
into it. It says on the Pocket PC Activesync that it is connected, However I
can not see it in Windows Vista anywhere. I have gone to sync center and
there is nothing there. It is not shown when I go to set up a new
partnership. Also, Windows Mobile Device Center will not connect to it. It
states ERROR all the time.

Can anyone assist me with this issue. I thought Windows Vista was supposed
to be easier to connecting to devices and synchronization? Well, ever since
I upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium I have not been able to connect.
