| Guest | Cant open IE7 without running as admin on Vista I just got a new laptop with Vista and IE 7 already installed. IE7 was working when I connected at work until a few days ago. Now it says it has stopped working and Windows cant find the problem. It says that at work and now at home since we connected to Verizon online. I CAN go to the IE icon, right click and choose run as administrator, to get a window. However, this is a pain and I dont want to have to do this everytime. Also, I cant hit any links which would open a new window, because that doesnt open it as the admin. Can anyone help me........ PLEASE????? |

| Guest | Re: Cant open IE7 without running as admin on Vista Sounds like there may be an add-in misbehaving. Run IE7 as-administrator, then click Tools -> Manage Add Ons -> Enable or Disable Add Ons, and try disabling any add-ons that you don't recognize. -- - JB Microsoft MVP - Windows Shell/User Windows Vista Support Faq http://www.jimmah.com/vista/ |
