Vista - internet access for account users

This may be daft, but why can I access the internet but other account users
on this computer not? (Using Vista) My kids both have user accounts, but they
can't get connected. I've tried setting up the access on their accounts in
the same way I did mine, but keep getting error messages saying the password
is invalid.
Please help before my 2 week old computer goes out of the window!!!
