| | Windows Update Error: 80244021 After Installing Windows Vista & attemptiong to go out to find any updates, i get the above error that there is no documentation for. Thoughts? |

| | RE: Windows Update Error: 80244021 You are probably using a proxy server. Change your Proxy settings to automatic by opening Internet Explorer, Select Tools, Internet Options, Connections Tab, LAN Settings and check the box for "Automatically detect settings". Be sure to uncheck the box under Proxy Server. Run the updates and then be sure to change your Proxy settings back the way they were.
