Cannot get into my documents

I have only one login, but i don't have all the rights. After searching on
the internet, there was stated somewhere to use cmd (find cmd.exe, right
click and then select use as administrator). But then i see an account: .NET
account... And i don't know the password because i didn't made the account
and don't know where it came from. I tried to get the rights back with help
of Winows help online, but i cannot change the rights because i don't have
the permission to change... Who can help me out?

Re: Cannot get into my documents

Try this

1. Click Start
2. Control Panel
3. User Accounts
4. Make changes to your User Account
5.Turn User Account control on or off
6. Uncheck the box...Use User account control (UAC) to help protect your
computer.
7. Click OK button

Thats it. Now you have control of your computer.

NEXT... to keep from logging in every time you turn on the computer,

Still in control panel...
1. Click Parental Controls
2. At the computer Administrator icon click to remove password or (no
password).

Let me know if it worked.
Tom

Re: Cannot get into my documents

The .NET account is created when you install .NET framework 1.1
This account is not for general use and as such you should not be logging
into the .NET account.

Re: Cannot get into my documents

When i try to change my account settings, the screen goes a little darker and
a screen pops up asking me for my ASP.NET Machine ... password. I don't know
this password. When did i filled it in? And where or how can i find it? I
cannot install programs because then it asks for the same password... So a
program to get back passwords isn't working to

Re: Cannot get into my documents

I tried it, but when i choose "change user account" a screen pops up asking
me for my ASP.NET password. I can't make any changes in my system or download
and install programs. Where can i find the password, or how can i put this
off without the program?

Re: Cannot get into my documents

....and i don't want to log in to this account, Vista has started a life on
it's own (scary!). I think after a problem with my account settings i have
done something wrong and lost administrator rights. It seems .NET Framework
1.3 has it now. How can i get it back without a password or where can i find
it?

Re: Cannot get into my documents

For all others having this problem: install Vista again making your CD-rom
drive the first boot drive (press DEL or F2 during startup).
If you have a upgrade to Vista, then don't give in a product key. After
that, choose the advanced setup option, choose your type of Vista and format
the drive (or partition). Of course you have to make an update first of all
the stuf you want to take with you to your new Vista.
When Vista is working, change the first boot option back to HDD. The start
Vista an do the upgrade (with the product). After that, you have a brand new
Vista with only the upgrade version.
My system is now working perfect, without problems with mail and .NET
framework accounts i don't want to use.
Succes!
