Vista - Microsoft Intellitype Pro 2.1

Good Evening:

I recently upgraded from XP to Windows Vista Home Premium. I am very happy
with Vista but I am having issues loading Microsoft Intellitype Pro 2.1.
When I try to download from the disk I receive an unknown error message.
I have tried for a month using every possible method.
The mouse works find but none of the special keys work.
Any recommendations for suggestions will be appreicated.

That version is kind of ancient. Why don't you try 6.1 here:
