Vista - Password

Hi,
My sister is the administrator of our pc at home, but she has forgot the
password of her account, so now we can download anything now.

Do anyone know how we can remove her account of somthing else? I wan't to be
able to download msn, but we can because she is the administrator and she
also forgot her password. Please help!!!!

Had she created a password reset disk prior to forgetting the password? If
so, use it. If not, use groups.google.com and specify this newsgroup and
search for password. Sort by date. You may find some recent posts that
apply.

There are programs you can buy to recover your password.

There are many ways to fix your problem, but which way to go depends on how
valuable the data is on your computer and how much you want to spend to
recover it. It may be possible to recover everything quite cheaply,
depending on the tools supplied by the computer manufacturer.

Hi, Eliesa,

If you got another PC running on Window XP and have the same user name &
password, you can download password key from that computer by going to user
accounts then click " prevent a forgotten password" on your left hand site &
insert in the PC running Vista & reset the password.
