| | no hardware change but need to activate window again why i do not have change any of my hardware but the window says that there is a hardware change and need to reactivate the window vista again? |

| | RE: no hardware change but need to activate window again I recently had a user using Windows XP Pro that moved some files around between user folders (specifically start menu stuff) manually using Windows Explorer and this triggered a reactivation. He was actually trying to move start menu selections between users to limit their availablility to other users. I guess what I'm getting at is if you have moved some of the system files around manually, you may trigger this.
