| | Vista: I log on as Administrator, then Vista logs me off!? Occasionally, after I log on as Admin and Vista finishes booting up, I cannot open the Control Panel and a few other items. After looking in the Events log, I noticed that Windows had logged me off after bootup, thus not allowing me to enter the tools of the system. This is accompanied by subsequent events (in the Events log) by a user registry handle leaking from \registry\user\s-1-5-21-3814799448-4025391345-1001_classes. OK, this is complex and strange. Other than this, my Vista system works great, and this is an intermittent problem -- I can reboot and all is fine. ANY ideas out there? Anything? |

Disregard previous message. The problem is more severe than just an Administrator login. And I thought my Vista system was totally flawless just a couple of weeks ago. Not! And I did NOTHING new to it! Sigh. EW |
