| | Installation Problems May be I was not very much clear in the message with subject "Damn Vista". Actually I am using Vista Home Premium in my Dell Laptop. There is only one account which is administrator account and which is me. In the control panel it also shows my status as administrator. Now Vista always prompts and prevents me to install different softwares from websites for example right now I have pending two different critical BIOS updates from dell, but it always does not allow me to install them, prompting you need to be a administrator to install these updates. I dont know what is it prompting I am already administrator? Now I hope I am able to convey my problem. Cheers. Haroon |

| | Re: Installation Problems Right click the icon and click "Run as" and select "Administrator". Or Check with Dell to see if there is an option to update the BIOS by booting directly to a floppy or CD and download accordingly. Otherwise contact Dell for information updating the BIOS with Windows Vista. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Haroon" <Haroon@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B604762C-F7DE-4BFB-BDDC-D330758E3AC8@microsoft.com... > May be I was not very much clear in the message with subject "Damn > Vista". > Actually I am using Vista Home Premium in my Dell Laptop.
