What is worse, you might have to do this several times a day. I've simply given up. I use the folder templates, which appear to remember their views, but customizing the view of a single folder is wasted time because that view will be changed by Vista the next time the wind shifts direction. -- David Dickinson eveningstar at die-spammer-die dash mvps dot org Please reply only to the newsgroup, not by email. |

However, the key part in helping Vista remember the display settings is increasing the cache size from 5000 to 20000. (5mb to 20mb) It should help. Has it forgotten it again on yours after applying this solution? Regards, Shawn |
