Access Denied!!

Hi

I am helping a friend using windows vista basic and his recent items isn't
working so I try to open it and it says you need permission to access this
folder so I click ok to gain permission then it say access denied and says
for me to go to the security tab I have gone to that several times and it
says that I have control of it. I have tried everything but nothing works.
Does anyone have any ideas??

Cheers

Luke

Hello,

Recent Items in Windows Vista is now located here:

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent

The Windows XP location isn't a folder ... it's just there because you
are viewing hidden files.
