| | NT 4 Domain Logon We have a Domain managed by an NT 4.0 controller. All of the older workstations are XP Pro. Our latest machine came with Vista Business. We can't get it to be accepted into the domain. We either get an "Invalid username or password" or else a "Net session token" (something like that) error. Is Vista compatible with domains on NT 4 domain controllers? If so, where shnould we look? Spent a couple of hours on this and am stumped. Thanks. |

You might have to loosen up the NTLM security, etc. before Vista will be able to connect to an NT4 domain. Your other option would be to format the Vista machine and install XP. Microsoft does allow you to downgrade Vista Business or Ultimate to XP Professional as published here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en -- Ryan |
