Vista - access denied

I bought a laptop with vista basic on it used it for about a week. Now it
tells me access denied to my hard drive. Can't save anything and can't
delete anything. Any help

Can you describe exactly what you are trying to do when you get an Access
Denied message? What are you trying to save, and where?

Thanks for the help:

Anything on my C drive is not changeable. When I log on and go to my
computer and look at properties for c drive it say's access denied when I
try to use administrator password it gives me access denied. Contact
administrator.

Took computer back to best Buy where I purchased it. They could not figure
it out either. So, finally just reset computer to original state.
