Moving files as Admin

I have files on my desktop that i would love to move into one of my main
folders and it keeps asking for admin approval in which i say yes and it
still tells me that i need permission still. this has also happen when i
moved files to my public folder

Re: Moving files as Admin

Hello,

try setting permissions to the folder where the files should be dragged into (possibly the folder, where you take the files from, too):
Right-click the folder -> Properties -> tab "Security" -> click "Edit".
* If you are not listed, add your user name and set "Full control".
* If you are listed, set "Full control" to Administrators and your user name.

Please report if that worked.
Greetings,
