| | This Requested Operation Needs Elevation i get this message saying "This Requested Operation Needs Elevation" when i try downloading a .zip file off of a website. also, i dont want to disable UAC at all. how do i get the "This Requested Operation Needs Elevation" to go away without disabling UAC. p.s i tried running Command prompt as admin and didnt work. |

| | RE: This Requested Operation Needs Elevation I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer to download the file. You can try to right click on Internet Explorer and "Run as Administrator" to open Internet Explorer as Administrator. This might solve you problem. There isn't a way to totally bypass UAC without disabling it.
