| | RE: inactive screensaver/vista I had the same issue after installing Windows Vista RC1. Based on posts in some of the other threads here I decided to try unplugging my USB wireless mouse. Gosh, the screensaver kicked in. Who'd a thunk it. Anyway, I'm guessing you have a wireless mouse? Unplug it. -- Imagine what we could be... if we could just imagine. | | RE: inactive screensaver/vista i've had previous issues with wireless and usb ms mice before but am using a plain scrolling ps2. i'm thinking maybe something to do with ati/windows drivers for graphics card but visually aero looks sweet. -- asus a7n8x dlx v2 xp2800+ 512 ddr333 radeon 9600 pro 160gb + 80gb dual boot xph sp2/beta2 vista x86(5384) "Daniel A Galant" wrote: > I had the same issue after installing Windows Vista RC1. | | RE: inactive screensaver/vista I'm running ATI on the laptop. If it was the actual graphics (in my case) then removing the mouse should have made no difference. There are certainly a lot of posts with this issue however. Best of luck. -- Imagine what we could be... if we could just imagine.
