You can try this. Make sure that they are in a "Standard" user account and that you have your "Administrator" account password protected with one they cannot easily figure out. Now go into Parental controls and restrict access to what you do not want them to access. They will not be able to access anything that changes the system for all users or what you restricted without entering your Administrator password. You can turn Parental controls off in the Control Panel. However, if you allow them access, then they can just turn it back on again. Hope this works for you, Shawn |

I have a box that pops up everytime I load a new page. It says "Microsoft Windows content advisor" and it says it is blocked b/c the page has not rating. I have to enter in my password EVERYTIME and then click another button about continuing a step. I want the parent controls to GO AWAY. How can I go in a reset it all???? It is the biggest hassel!!!! Crow Not a problem. You can disable the Service "Parental Controls" to get rid of it. Take a look at this link for how to disable the service. If you ever want it back, just enable the service again.
