Everything is going on recovery drive (D:\)

I apologize ahead of time for not being Vista savvy (yet).

My friends daughter got a new Dell before heading off to school. It came w/ Vista and when she got it, it asked her where her account should be. The default was D:\ which is the Recovery Drive. Needless to say it's only 10GB and is full now (C: partition has 100+GB free).

This caused a problem because when she asked for help installing the printer driver, it kept trying to install it on D, which was full. I tossed out some old stuff on D (windows.old) and had enough room to install the driver but it needs to be on the C drive, not the D drive.

It seems like the system is directing everything to the D drive. How do I change her account to the C drive (I tried creating a new account but it doesn't ask for a drive location). Also - any new drivers to be installed will probably also try to go to the D drive.....Help!!!

Thanks a ton in advance.
