| | Account User Issue I am the Administrator on this PC, my account is working properly. When I went to tech support for Symantec, they had me do something that causes my daughter's user account to show a completely dark screen when she clicks on her account. How do I fix that? |

| | Re: Account User Issue Minky Without knowing exactly what was done, there is no way that anyone can recommend a fix? Your best option is to follow up with Symantec tech support. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Minky" <Minky@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CE353C44-5DF9-4B2D-9D3A-D62AA8FA3F2D@microsoft.com... >I am the Administrator on this PC, my account is working properly. | | RE: Account User Issue If your daughters user account is a non-administrative one on you PC, try to run "sfc /scannow" from the command prompt (from administrator account). Others (including myself) have had problems with standard accounts following some updates that was sent out for Vista about the time of your postt. Worth a check. Let us know if things work out for you! Best Troels "Minky" wrote: Quote: > I am the Administrator on this PC, my account is working properly.
