| | Can Not Complete Login Just installed it (Build 5384). Upgrade from xp pro sp2. Seemed to install great, although it took 3 days (kidding). Upon boot it brings me to the user select screen. I select my username and it goes through the following steps: 1)logging on 2)preparing your desktop 3)closing your desktop 4)logging off Then, it brings me right back to the login screen. I've tried going to safe mode, but to no avail. Anyone help? Thanks. |

Hi, try to login in safe mode as administrator and create a new user account, reboot and check if you can login with this new user |

Not sure what happened but it no longer works. -MrVee |
