file problem

when i open a folder or file after 5 seconds a box pops up and says windows
stoped working and is searching for a solution and it wont let me do anything
so what do i do?

Hello,

the "Windows Explorer has stopped working" problem is very common. Have you
installed all latest updates?

They may help. Have you done a thorough malware and virus check? Do that if
it doesn't help.
It's a very tricky error, so it may not be solved in the near future.
Have you got a system restore point?
