| | MS - Folder Options What a pain Vista is! How do I change my folder options. I want to see all folders in detail format when I open them. I have to change each and everyone every time I open a folder. -- Dave |

| | Re: MS - Folder Options Dave If you are new to Vista, I urge you to use the Help and Support to see the differences between Vista and previous versions of Windows. The help in Vista is much more complete and more intuitive with a plain language search. Go to Start and click on Help and Support. Type "Change folder views" "folder options" or whatever else you may need information for in the search box and press Enter. Click the first link in the results and you will have access to a very complete section on how to do this. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Dave" <Dave@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:2938ACAF-BEE3-4EA0-B7F8-5B8F2DFDCB8F@xxxxxx Quote: > What a pain Vista is! > > How do I change my folder options. | Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: MS - Folder Options I followed the directions, and they worked. At least for all my disk folders I now see the detailed view without having to futz in each folder. But when I click on a DVD drive, the same detailed settings I just set are not applied. I see the non-detailed view. WHY? |
