| | RE: Files and folders You can create a new user profile and grant him administrator permissions with your current account. After that copy all the profile content from piperdy to your new account profile. Finally, you can delete piperdy account from the system. -- MCSA, MCDST, MCP Systems Specialist http://www.wincert.net "jtm52991" wrote: Quote: > i i have a question i would like to ask.. the person that sold me my laptop > turned it on and put her name on everything ive changed most of the stuff > like the profile name i changed and the laptop name i changed but in the c > drive the users folder she put her name piperdy as the main user and that > folder is where almost all my stuff is saved so when ever i save somthing it > comes up as c:/users/piperdy/soandso ive tried renameing it but it just makes > a weird noise probly telling me i cant do that so yea rightclicking and going > to rename doesnt work so if there is another way i can do this i would > greatly appreciate you telling me > -- > Thanks > > John |
