HELP

We bought this dell with vista home basic instaled on it 3 weeks ago and my
son set it up for me, he is 16 and he set it up as him being the
administrator and won't give the password to me. Is there anyway to reset it
so I can be the administor he is going to websites we do not aprove of please
help my email is armom123@xxxxxx,com

If he won't listen to reason then take the computer away from him. Look in
the manual for the factory restore procedure and restore the computer to the
factory setup. This will erase everything on the computer so make sure you
have backed up any important data. Once the computer is restored to the
factory setup create an administrator for yourself and a standard user for
your son. Make sure all administrator accounts use a strong password that is
not a word, contains letters, numbers, and punctuation, and is at least
eleven characters long (e.g. tbn58$FL!mhg). Look at using the parental
controls.

Once again I'll warn you. Restoring the factory setup will erase everything
on the computer. Backup any important data first.
