| | Cannot find administrator account or password We just got a new laptop with Vista. I set up user accounts, parental controls for my kids, passwords for us. Now I am constantly getting the the "windows needs your permission to continue" popup under every user and I neither of the passwords that we have created works. In fact, when this popup comes up, there is not even a line to enter the password. It is so strange. I feel paralyzed. We have set up four accounts and they all come up as "standard users", but we must have an administrator account somewhere, right? Any guidance is appreciated! -- New to Vista |
