and in the box of vista..its said that 'Backup and clean install may be
required'..
so i tired to install vista in clean install...and it can install...
but when i change my product key which is inside the windows package...
and its appered 'The software Licensing Service determined that this
specified product key can only be used for upgrading, not for clean
installations.'
and my question is how can the litte box in the windows package siad
''Backup and clean install may be required'. but my key it doesn't work...
Could you solve it as soon as possible, please?..

RE: big problem about upgrade...

Hi Chen,

If you refer to my post 'Clean Install Windows Vista Using Upgrade Media' in
the newsgroup 'Windows Vista Installation and Setup' (dated 9/21/2007), you
will find detailed instructions.
