Vista - downloading msn 8.1

i use window vista which i hate by the way...i can't find my downloads
anywhere.i use ie 7 i have tried making new folders and that doesn't work i
can't find any games that i have downloaded.someone plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
help!!!!!!

IE7 always asks YOU where you want the downloads to go, doesn't it? What do
you tell it?

If you download an executable file (usually with the .exe extension) and
choose Run, rather than Save, the actual download will go to a temporary
folder, from which it is executed to install the game or other program, and
then the downloaded file may be deleted, either immediately or in the next
manual or automatic cleanup cycle. If you want to keep the install file
(for later re-installation, perhaps), then Save it first (to the location
YOU choose), then Run it later.

Please don't just automatically click Run or Save without actually reading
the message on your screen. Among just a few other things, this screen will
tell you WHERE IE plans to put the file. Rather than accept the default,
you might want to Browse to the location you prefer. Next time, this
location will be the default - until you change it for some future download.
You might want to create a new location for all downloads, so that you will
always know where to look.
And you will continue to hate Vista until you invest the time to learn how
it works. Then you will love it. ;<)
