| | Changing the "Edit" association I want to change the program that's used when I right-click on a file and select "Edit". In previous Windows OSs this was relatively easy - there was a dialog for this purpose. In Vista one is reduced to direct registry editing. Default Programs in Control Panel is brain damaged and only allows the "Open" association to be changed, which is not what I want to do. Only one of many things that Microsoft have dumbed down. Maybe if I have a lobotomy I'll be more in tune with this operating system. |
