    Wordpad: recent opened files

In Wordpad in the Menu File you can see the list of recent used files. How
can I remove this list or disable this list.

    Re: Wordpad: recent opened files

The list of recent files opened in Wordpad are stored in the following registry location:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Wordpad\Recent File List

To clear the listing, you may use the following command (from Start - Search box)

reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Wordpad\Recent File List" /f
