Rename a tag

Windows Photo Gallery lets you rename a tag used on potentially hundreds of
photos and videos in a single operation. Is there a similar utility for other
types of files?

Re: Rename a tag

You can also use Windows Explorer.

Re: Rename a tag

How? I am NOT trying to add or remove a tag from a file, but RENAME a tag
GLOBALLY.

Re: Rename a tag

You can try to Search (advanced) for the tag, tagwhatever)
select the files it finds, and rename the tag.
(in theory, of course, depending on how well Search works)

Or you can go to a folder containing the files, add the Tag column
(right-click on the Name column heading & select Tags)
sort on the Tag column, select the files with the tag you want to change,
and type in a new tag in the Details Pane at the bottom.

Re: Rename a tag

That did the job, just about. I hope someone makes a dedicated app for this
one day!
