MS Office files preview

It is a strange thing but I've got one thumbnail which displays the content
of MS Word 2007 files. So this causes my question: can Vista display the
content of MS Office files in thumbnails (just like for pics or pdf)?

Yes, if you enable the Preview Pane in Windows Explorer
(Organize/Layout/Preview Pane) you can scroll through the entire document in
that pane.
