| | Send To (clipboard, active applications) Dear MS Windows team, I have a suggestion for Windows Explorer. Often I need to copy the contents of a text file (not neccesarily .txt though) to the clipboard or to another active application. This is a task that a lot of people like me do a lot every day. This task could very well be simplified by, for example: Adding two extra items to the Send To context menu item: - Clipboard - Active application: - Microsoft Word - Mytext.doc - Notepad - etc.. Much like the SendToX Windows 95 Power Toy. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. If you do not see the button, follow this link to open the suggestion in the Microsoft Web-based Newsreader and then click "I Agree" in the message pane. http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/com...ile_management |
