Group Policy Editor in Vista Basic

Hi, everyone.

I kindda wondered what happened to the Group Policy editor in Vista Basic. I
couldn't view some low level settings here in this Vista edition that I
have. Is there a Group Policy editor here? If there is, would someone please
point me to that?

Hi Alvin,

Sorry, the Local Group Policy Editor is not available for the Vista Home Basic and Home Premium versions.

There usually is a way to do the same thing in the registry instead. If you list some of the things you are wanting to do, someone may know and share how to do it.

The Group Policy Editor and most other MSC components are not available in
the Home versions of Vista. These were also not available in the XP Home
version.
