Restore the files in the My Documents frolder of a Win 98 to Vista

I need to move the files from the My Documents Folder of a Win 98 machine to
a new machine running Vista, the Win 98 machine is still running? I have
tried to use a restore from the Back up menu and the Sync function so far no
ago. Does any one have any ideas - Tks Joe
