| | Explorer navigation question In Windows XP Windows Explorer you can use the cursor keys to move up or down and across directories which in turn refreshes the right pane of Explorer to display file/folders however in Vista doing the same does not refresh the file/folder pane. Can this be done in Vista (maybe using a registry amendment)? Thanks. JM. |

| | Re: Explorer navigation question JM Not sure why this was changed in Vista? You can still navigate the folders the same way, but you need to press the Enter key when you want to display the contents of the folder that is currently selected. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "JM" <joemaldon@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7uidnZR5RfvkAsTanZ2dnUVZ8sCknZ2d@xxxxxx Quote: > In Windows XP Windows Explorer you can use the cursor keys to move up or > down and across directories which in turn refreshes the right pane of > Explorer to display file/folders however in Vista doing the same does not > refresh the file/folder pane. > > Can this be done in Vista (maybe using a registry amendment)? > > Thanks. > > JM. |

Do you mean a freeware version of xyplorer? Because such is not anywhere in evidence at that location (a 30-day trial, following which it costs 17.50Euros or $25.)
