| | Unable to delete a file in Vista Premimun Home Several messages from Microsoft Mail have shown up as files on my c drive and I have been unable to delete them. When I right click on them, delete is not an option in the new widow. When I highlight the file and click delete there is no response. Where should I look for help? |

Are you not able to delete them from within Windows Mail? If not, then read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem. Windows Mail problems If this not the issue, then try to take ownership of the files first. Now try and delete them. This tutorial will show you how to take ownership of a item.
