Lost Notebook in Vista Right Click New Tab

When I wanted a quick document I would right click and select new and choose
notebook, for some reason this has now disappeared.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Leroy

When you right click, select New / Text Document. This should open with
Notepad.

Leroy

Copy the text between the 2 dashed lines. Click Start/All
Programs/Accessories/Notepad and paste the text into Noptepad. Click
File/Save As and save the file as text.reg to your desktop. Right
click the file and select the Merge option. Click yes on the registry
prompts. Close everything and reboot the computer. This should add the
New/Text Document back to that menu.
