Since you didn't tell us what program you are trying to search in (or any other context information), about all I can suggest is that you Google for the error phrase, " the search could not be intitialized". (You might want to correct the spelling of "initialized" first.) I got no hits on the whole phrase, but I get over 200,000 hits on "could not be initialized" - and 5 on "search could not be initialized". RC -- R. C.
