| | Help! folder options not responding This has happened to me several times, I usually keep the Browse Folders option set to "open in same window". But every once in a while, because of the actions I want to perform, I like to be able to open each folder in its own window. But the files don't respond. They keep on opening in the same window. I can't figure out why this is happening. The way I have dealt with it in the past is by using System Restore, but there are no restore points available that would correct the problem. I would just like to be able to know what causes this, and know how to fix it without using System Restore. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Open each folder in the same window, and Open each folder in its own window. That's what's not working. My computer seems to be stuck in Open each folder in the same window mode. I can change the preference by dotting the Open in own window option, but nothing happens. |

Yeah, you have to turn off the Navigation Pane in option two to automatically have the window open in a separate window. I think this is a bug, but it works fine with it off. With the Navigation Pane turned on, the only option is option one. Shawn |
