My "My Computer" name got changed

My cat likes to take naps on my laptop while it's on and he managed somehow
to change the name of my "my computer" to "n#@". Now where ever it should say
"my computer" it says n#@. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to
change it back.

Probably the easiest thing to do is a System Restore because you don't
know what else Obey The Kitteh changed.

To run System Restore, go to the Start Orb and in the Start Search box
type "System Restore" without the quotes. System Restore will appear in
the Programs result. Click on it, allow the UAC prompt, and follow the
wizard.

If you mean a shortcut to "Computer", highlight the shortcut, and press F2,
type in "Computer"

Hi Marauder,

If you mean the Computer button in the Start Menu or a shortcut, then right click on it and click "Rename". Just type in "Computer" again and press Enter.

If you mean the name of your computer, then see:

Computer Name

Hope this helps,
Shawn
